Jennie Jermaine

Dance Dreams is ecstatic to welcome Jennie Jermaine to our instructor corps. Jennie has been dancing since she was two and a half years old. At four, her parents took her to see a musical at Casa Mañana in Fort Worth. When the show was over, she stood on her chair and proclaimed, “I wanna be up there!” And so it began! Jennie was a member of Kids Who Care’s resident company for nearly a decade. She owes Ms Deborah for all of her memorization, speech, and theatre etiquette training!

Jennie’s mom, Patti, was a commercial sign writer for many years. She taught Jennie all things art from an early age, including sketching, painting, and geometrical art. She went to Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts from grades five to eight. From 2007-2009, Jennie was in no less than two musicals at once. Sometimes she was doing three at the same time! Because of her busy professional schedule, she transitioned to homeschool for high school. She had school in the morning, auditions in the afternoon, and rehearsals at night.

Jennie is a 2013 graduate of KD Conservatory in Dallas with an associates in musical theatre. She studied ballet technique under Paula Morelan. Many thanks to Ms Paula, Michael Serrecchia, Megan Kelly Bates, and Mark Mullano for all the training she received on her journey at KD!

Jennie has been teaching on the daycare side of Dance Dreams since 2015. In 2019, she began teaching recreational classes at the studio! Jennie really pulls from her theatre background in her classes. She is excited to teach her students the importance of technique and expressing yourself while you’re dancing. She excels in tap, lyrical, ballet, jazz, art, and theatre. She cannot wait to help your kiddo with their dance, theatre, and art journey!
