Pre-Pointe:

For participants 3rd-5th grade.  Pre-Pointe classes are a prerequisite to Pointe classes. The decision to go on pointe is pretty serious, it should be a well thought out decision. Many factors go into play; including the dancer's ballet technique, strength, mobility of the ankles and feet, core control, turn out, bone development and the dancers maturity. Students should be taking 3+ ballet classes a week to be properly prepared for moving onto pointe. This is great for the instructors to see who is serious and who is prepared for taking the transition from pre pointe to pointe, and who is not prepared. Students should also have an assessment by their dance instructor or a health professional who specializes in dance health before moving into pointe. This process is also a great learning experience for students already on pointe to highlight any areas they need to improve on or are lacking in.

This is a replacement for the traditional Recreational Level Classes.  This path for serious dancers who are looking to take their skills to the next level.  We have spent unbelievable hours researching, speaking with certified physical trainers, experimenting, and perfecting what we believe is the ABSOLUTE BEST way to improve a dancer's technique/ strength/ conditioning/ and muscle control all at once.  These classes are INTENSE!  But the payoff in your dancer's skills, we believe, will be unparalled.  We're not focusing on just one leap or turn or trick in this class...we're BUILDING the dancer's muscles from the ground up to be the absolutely best they possibly can be.  If you want to get better in acro, if you want to try out for next year's competition teams, if you want to get on Pointe, if you want to audition for college teams or bigger, if just want to feel amazing, THESE ARE THE CLASSES FOR YOU!

Pre-Pointe:

For participants 9th-12th grade.
