This patriotic 4th of July Camp is one big party for our great nation! Participants will do 4th of July themed activities, make special red, white and blue goodies, have some snow cones, play games, and EVEN learn some really cool facts about the American Independence Day and how it came to be. At The Zen Den - Yoga Camp, the kids will learn yoga poses, meditation, and mindfulness. We'll do yoga and breathing, but in a FUN way! Did you know that there is NOWHERE around here where kiddos can go in and create their own pottery from scratch and then have it actually fired in a kiln so that they can keep it forever?! At least not that we could find :)! So, in true Dance Dreams fashion, we decided to do something about that! We went out and bought all the supplies and our very own kiln...and then we went out and found a master instructor...and now we're all set to help your kiddos create the masterpieces of their dreams! We'll learn the basics of pottery making, the joy of painting premade pottery, and then combine those skills to create one of a kind fired works of art they can keep forever! In this camp, we will take the idea of Dungeons and Dragons and kick it up a notch! During this 5 day camp we will explor the five basic disciplines of dance: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Clogging and Hip-Hop. Are you interested in a fun and unique way to create colorful works of art? Then have we got the camp for you! In our Beginning Enameling Summer Camp you will learn techniques to sift enamel (glass powder), use stencils, sgraffito (scratch designs), use crackle (a special enamel) and draw on etched enamel plus so much more. Once each skillset has been learned, students are then able to choose the ones they like best to independently dive into making their own pieces each day. (Think earrings, bracelets, key ring fobs, bracelets, etc.) You can expect to make one to three pieces each day, depending on the techniques you choose and your designs.
